Fasten off and weave in ends. Cut four 3 inch pieces of pink yarn, loop them through the 4 middle stitches to create the tentacles.

Finishing:

  1. Sew the head to the body. Add some stuffing as you do this to give the neck some structure.
  2. Place the hat on the head, I did not sew the hat to the head because it’s a snug fit and I think it looks better but you can sew it if you’d like.
  3. Sew the water spout to the top of the head/hat, stuff lightly as you sew.
  4. Sew the arms to the body.
  5. Sew the belly to the front middle of the body.
  6. Sew the tail to the back bottom of the body, do not stuff instead fold the piece before you sew it to the body.
  7. Sew the jellyfish buddy to your whale wherever you’d like, I chose to sew it to the front left bottom of the body.

I hope you’ve enjoyed working on this pattern because now you have your very own Winter The Whale with a cute little jellyfish buddy! I thought of this pattern after finishing another whale pattern that I did a pattern review of. You can find it here.
